 Earth Celebrations Hudson River Pageant
from Tribeca to the West Village along the river, Manhattan

Last year Janet, along with Katie Freygang and the help of numerous young students,
made the Robes of Honor for the Stewards of the River http://janetmorgan.net/procession.html .
This year they worked with the students of the Henry Street Settlement to create art
about the animals of the Hudson for hats, presentation satchels and banners for the pageant.

Our journey to Southern Utah was a blast!
We hiked, backpacked and painted along with four friends
 visiting remote slot canyons, waterfalls, badlands, hoodoos, mesa tops, giant arches
two national parks, two state parks, a national monument and a national recreation area.
Most of the areas we hiked are wilderness but currently unprotected.
